Greetings :) I disagree. Growth in the direction of effectiveness in Perl dictates learning to read code - especially when Perl has the bad tag of a "Write Only" language. The benefit? Writing clear code when needed, or subscribing to the original Unix thought "If you don't understand it, maybe you shouldn't mess with it?" my $cents = 2; -Sx- :]
