Read the relevant parts of the perlop page. The modifiers c, d and s
is described. Of course you have to know what the complement of the
empty set is.

I don't think it is possible, but *if* you could you didn't have to
pay for it. It would probally be due to a bug in perl but you are
allowed to tage advantage of bugs.
