It made the Friday paper here in Indianapolis too. However it made it to my
email lists first with a bit more info. The thing that surprises me is there
are over 500,000 of these in the recall because of 6 hazardously faulty ones
(according to Apple).
Mine gets awfully warm though so I'll be glad to replace it. I'm glad
Apple's willing to go to such length even with such a limited failure rate.
Even if there 10 times as many it seems like one might attribute it to age
or defect. Not necessarily a design flaw. But then I'm not an engineer.
