Isn't that built-in the OS (not running any OS X machine right here, 
so I can't test) ?. In the finder, choosing Go->Connect to Server and 
entering the server url (something like ftp://what.the.server.is) 
and you should have it on your desktop to drag and drop. This works 
with both AFP and SMB servers, so I can't see why it should not with 
FTP.
