Since you're using Zip disks and floppies, I wonder whether it wouldn't be
more convenient to get an external SuperDrive instead?  (Unfortunately,
internal SuperDrives were never manufactured for G3 Series, afaik.)

It might be something to consider if you have trouble finding another floppy
drive, and if you find yourself swapping drives often.
