Someone asked a few days ago if I had noticed a nice speed bump with my Sonnet upgrade and I neglected to respond right away.
The answer is yes, I like it very much, but I don't know if the jump from 300 to 500 will be as viscerally satisfying as you might expect. Now that the 700mHz iBook is out, I kind of wish I had saved my money (on the 30GB Travelstar upgrade as well) and bought one of those. On a related note, does anyone know of a way I can put my WS PB into Firewire Target disk mode (I have an OrangeLink Firewire Card), or something like it?
