I have never had any complaints about my 333 iMac's screen but now that my new/used G3 PowerBook is sitting here next to it, the screen images look really flat and fuzzy. Even the menu bar text looks fuzzier (and its all set to the default which is, I think, 12 pt. charcoal).
Is that normal or is my iMac getting tired? They're both about the same age: iMac is May, 1999 and the PowerBook (Wallstreet/300/8Gb/14.1") is from somewhere in 1998(?). Also, they are both set to millions of colors and the PowerBook has 4Mb of VRAM. The portable is much more pleasant to look at........ -- Matthew D.
