I have had a Duo 2300 and Wallstreet that both had a bad pixel. I massaged the darn thing and it did indeed clear up. It's weird that it worked. After that, I was lucky, the bad pixels never came back. Sometimes other pixels started acting up, then I rubbed them and they went away. So I guess it's worth a try.
