Heok Hee was correct, Apple is continuing to warranty or recall the 
Wallstreet power supplies.  Alas, to instigate the recall, you must 
supply Apple with the serial number from the bottom of the unit. 
Alas, my (apparently) highly used G3/300 has a worn serial number and 
although I can make out of few of the numbers, I can't even make out 
half of them.

Is there somewhere or some way else (via software?) that I can 
determine the serial number?
