Downloaded the files at work today the standard update for my powerbook and PowerMac G4 took 5 mins for 22 megs and then down loaded the 45 meg combined upgrade which took 10 mins. I am waiting to see what others have to say before i load. MY powerbook is running fine with 10.1.4 but my PowerMac Dual G4 is not running that well with 10.1.4 and my parents imac G4 is running very well with 10.1.3 (avoided the 10.1.4 on htat machine) >From what i hear in the apple forums is that monitor resolutions are a problem with many disapearing but with the powerbook i think there is only 4 options anyhow, So that should not effect that machine but my tower i am not so sure some of the supported Resos i have had problems with on my hitachi monitor. As for the sleep problem since i never use sleep i have no comment on that per (hate sleep mode anyhow since i never leave the puter all day) Us the built in screen saver mostly much easier to togle off when writing a CD I hear of login settings and constent kernal panics on the 10.1.5 but that might be due to the system updater that u use via the control modual. Since i never use the built in updater other than the check for updates then i go to apple and download them directly. I did not from a freind that if you loose your connection or if your puter goes to sleep on system update it will or might mess up things so rather chance it i download and it takes a whole lot less time to update the OS Thanks James
