In my unscientific test, my Pismo's feel cooler when on the CoolPad than
when they are on a hard surface, plus it saves wear and tear on the pesky
rubber feet that were always coming off before I used the CoolPad.

I have only used the travel version and have never used the Podium version
of the CoolPad.
