First of all, I want to thank everybody for their helpful words. Everything stated was clear and easily understandable by me. It was a wonderful education. I have been hoping that Apple would find some way to remove Unix completely from the user, based on what all people have said, I'm satisfied that this has become the way it is. I especially liked the all-important words above. :-) I would also like to add that I do not fear unix for myself, but for my parents, and even those like them, who would be confused with a dual arrangement. From when X first came out, I have been concerned that Apple has left its roots--the very principles that made the Mac OS what it was. Of a truth, X has indeed departed from those classic principles, yet, it has maintained some more fundamental principles, which I see now, based on your emails. You have no idea how much your words have helped me. :-) thanks. -- -Jon Glass Krakow, Poland <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> "You need only reflect that one of the best ways to get yourself a reputation as a dangerous citizen these days is to go about repeating the very phrases which our founding fathers used in their struggle for independence." -- C.
