This has me baffled. I also installed a beta first, when I had the original
Wallstreet 8GB hard disk. No partitioning of course and it went reasonably
well. I installed 10.1 and 10.2 on a 30GB HD without encountering greyed-out
icons (except when I tried a reinstall of 10.1 over 10.1.5).
