I only kept the 2GB drive in long enough to make sure the Wallstreet was good and would boot up properly. It had a clean install of OS8.1. As I mentioned, I just aquired it (it arrived Tuesday morning) so I don't know it history all that well. Also, as I mentioned in my other reply, I put a different drive in it this morning and got the same results. As a matter of fact, I just checked it and it's locked up right now. It didn't even get a chance to go to sleep. This is a different drive, a clean install of OS9.2.1 (no OSX yet) and that's all. I have used TechTool Pro 3 to run all the available hardware tests and they all check out as passing (VRAM, PRAM, RAM, drive, etc.). TTP3 found nothing wrong. Is it safe to assume that anything beyond OS9.1 will be problematic on the Wallstreet? If so, I'm just going to leave it at OS9.1 and my wife can use it that way. She really could care less, unlike me, a Mac junkie ;^) -Mark -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
