It *never* says anything other than "Calculating..." when I have the menu bar show the time. That's why I generally have it set to percent. That is correct. It shows a correct time when the battery is discharging, but when I plug it in...calculating. Oh well, it generally doesn't matter for me to know how long it will take to charge up, but it is important for me to know how much life it has left when I'm going portable.
