Hey guys and gals,
I didn't think anyone could help me with this, but I've been thinking about it and here goes. Ever since I upgraded my PowerBook G3 to X.1.5 my modem has been silent. Back when I had America Online, their tech support suggested that my modem speaker was bad. However, dialing through 9.2.1 makes my speaker resoundingly clear. I just can't get it to "speak" to me in OS X. I've even taken the somewhat drastic approach and copied the modem script I was using in 9 and placed in the appropriate folder in X. Still no luck. My modem is listed as a "Powerbook G3 Internal 56K". This is the script taken from 9. If anyone can assist me in giving my modem sound, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance. - John -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
