That is incorrect, kinda. The Wallstreet was the first Apple laptop to 
have Cardbus compliant PC card slots. Earlier ones (like the 
Kanga/3500, the 3400, and the 2400) had regular 16-bit PC card slots. 
However, those models can get a $100 upgrade from MCE to get fully 
cardbus-compliant slots. Not worth it if you ask me, I say save your 
$100 and sell the older laptop and you'll have almost enough for a 
Wallstreet right there.

Some people have hacked the 3400 to allow cardbus compliance without 
sending it to MCE, but it causes some bugs and it only works with 
certain brands of USB cards with certain devices. If you want reliable 
USB that complies with everything, get a Lombard or later.
