Actually, I did that - trashed the Internet Preferences file and created a new set of settings. Still getting that problem. I kind of suspect that when the 9.2.2 installed a new Internet Config Extension (which BTW, does NOT show up in Extension Manager's window), there was an incompatibility with IceTee (came with URL Manager Pro), which adds the Command-click capability for URLs within applications. But why should it have worked for months just fine (under 9.2.2), and just lately cause difficulties?

Oh, one thing I tried and noticed - I downloaded Internet Config 2.0.2 (Yeah, I know that Internet CP is supposed to replace it, but decided to try anyway) and changed my settings so that Netscape would open the ilht (Internet location)'s. Then saved the extension and the settings. After that, clicking on an ilht opened Netscape! But when I went back to IConfig and changed it to iCab again (and saved), I got the error message again. And I still do not have the Command-clicking capability (from ICeTEe) which I had up until recently... Perplexed, Jim Rohde -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
