Oops. Didn't get that far. I'm guessing it's because they're postscript printers. Sorry. You may consider getting a LocalTalk to ethernet bridge. I have a client who has their old LaserWriter NT connected to the network with an Asante brand. You could connect it directly to your Lombard or a network hub if you have one. I would imagine a direct connection would require a crossover cable.
