Thanks. I can honestly say that there is no way I would have spent this amount of money (no matter what the machine was) without having spent the last 2 - 3 months seriously playing with the used G4 I picked up (and recently sold to help finance the Powerbook). OTOH, this is really forcing me to sell off a lot of stuff that I had accumulated over the years, but no longer use, to make this all work. So I'm getting more than just the machine out of the deal. I know that I'm probably going to need a new carrying bag for the AlBook (I'm beginning to think I'm going to start calling them Big Al and Little Al) along with a few other toys of course. A laptop stand will be nice as well so I need to start looking into those.
