Yes... And I certainly believe the hub could be flaky and needing a 
constant kick in the reset button.. Or tossed in the trash... But still 
that doesn't explain the loss of the hardware address on the wallstreet. 
Maybe the hub is sending a surge through it and somehow overloading the 
powerbook's poor ethernet adapter? I'm sure I sound like a moron to the 
hardware guys (I'm just a programmer)...

By the way, the Apple system profiler shows a serial number of "not 
applicable" also... Related?
