Hi all, I have the following Pismo: PBG3 400MHz, 12GB HDD, OS9.2.2 & 10.2.3 I have encountered the problem that not all DVDs are able to be loaded (mounted). When I insert a movie DVD, the MacOS normally recognises it and then loads the DVD Player application. However, some DVDs are not able to be mounted and the DVD drive just sits there, reading the disc. Nothing appears on the Finder. The same DVDs mount and play fine on new PC laptops running Windows Me. The same DVDs also play fine on a standalone DVD player.
I suspect some problem with the DVD drive. Any ideas?
