I am on 10.2.4. Every time I restart and go into Safari, I discover it suffers from Alzhiemers. It forgets which folder I want things downloaded into, it forgets that I no longer use IE as the preferred Browser, it forgets what I use for a Home Page and it forgets the text editor I prefer. I never had this happen with any other browser. jg<< --------------------------- Well, I would suggest that you do two things. First off, have you reported the problem to Apple? using the built-in bug reporting too that is in Safari? If not, don't expect the problem to get resolved. Two, re-install Safari...like I said initially, I don't have this problem with preferences, and so suspect that you have a bad install (BTW, install the latest v.6 version of Safari).
