I have the same model. Very few 333mhz models had DVD decoding built-in 
- I think they were at the end of the model run.

OS X of any flavor doesn't support the PC Card DVD playback. I guess 
there's still a possibility of that happening, much like the long-lost 
hardware video acceleration for these machines.... But I'm not counting 
on it for mine.
