That's my preferred way. Works on any PowerBook or PowerMac (with power
button on KB) and any OS. And it only takes one finger (your choice) using
either hand :^)

And if you don't have the power key on your keyboard, the Option;Command;F12
(or Optical Media Eject Key) key combo will put it to sleep. I think this is
only a OSX feature and/or Macs with Pro Keyboards.
