An old email ISP cut their service, (as had been advised). However I had routed my new email address to the old one, so for a few days while traveling, I lost all incoming. Maybe I will never know if I lost anything important.

The main problem however is that I had quite a few emails in my 'Mail' inbox to be dealt with when time became available. When I deleted the discontinued email address from the preferences, all that mail disappeared; in spite of a popup appearing to say all would be safe. Of course, putting the address back in did not bring back the emails.

BE WARNED!

Could they be anywhere else? A search revealed nothing.

Stuart.
