I have been trying to mirror my desktop on a TV using the S-video out. It will work
fine with OS 9, But in OS X I can not pick the Refresh Rate until I set the resolution
(refresh is greyed out). This is not good because the only resolution that the built
in screen will accept is 1024x768 which my TV will not. When I set the resolution
to one the TV will work with (such as 800x600) the lcd goes black, The picture will
show up on the TV but is unreadable, I believe the Refresh Rate is set to PAL (50Hz).
So my question is How can I change the refresh rate without being able to see the
screen? Is there a way I can set it first? How are others doing this with OS X??

Thanks alot!!

Pat
