Hi all,

I have noted the thread on setting up a WiFi network without using a
hardware Airport Base Station. My question is: how does the range with
that kind of setup compare to with a hardware ABS - how far away can you
be and get good connections, etc.? Anyone who has had the ABS/hardware
setup for a little while, knows how far they could go, and then switched
to software only (and how far could it reach with software only)??

Thanks in advance for the info,

Jim Rohde
