Mike,
I tried iChat AV on my B&W tower (G3, 400mHz) with my JVC digital movie camera. No go.
The same setup worked flawlessly on my 17" Powerbook.
It appears that the program will only enable the video portion if it sees a processor faster than the 600 MHz G3.

Subject: iChat AV and iSight, with a Pismo?

Just wanted to know if anyone has tried using iChat AV (and maybe the
iSight or any other firewire camera) with a NON-upgraded Pismo G3
400mhz with 640MB RAM? The minimum requirements say 600mhz on Apple's
Website. Just wanted to know what you guys have found out. Any info
would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Mike
