HI Bruce, I'm an English/ Creative writing university student, I use Grammarian on all documents I produce. It too, suggests some inappropriate choices, but overall, I'd call it indispensible. I do write fairly well, but it catches things like tense shift, dangling participles and other things not obvious. Often, I use improper grammar purposely, and I simply click past the suggestions I don't want. But, it usually catches one or two mistakes per 1000 words I write that I would have missed.
