Paul,

Good question. I am not sure myself. Not being too familiar with VPN, I cannot answer that. I imagine that I could assign a port for VPN. I am trying to research VPN more in depth. I have a book on Jaguar. The author explains that once I "set up" my Mac to use VPN, I should be able to connect to another Mac, for example, that is configured for VPN as well. But no luck so far. I can SSH into my iMac at home, but via VPN. I also noticed that Universities use VPN, but you have to have a "client" that they issue to you before you can connect.

Kyle

I've never tried this, but I'd have to question what port is used by VPN, and is this port open on any routers, cable/DSL access points, or firewalls between the two systems?

Paul
