The point I'm trying to make is given all the possible choices, I'd suggest sourcing a mechanism which will allow one to use the Apple faceplate so as to avoid the cobbled-together look one gets when using a generic face. Plus Matsushita mechanisms are by many accounts quite the equal (and some say the better) of Sony-made opticals.
Of course I gave lots of extraneous information, I do apologize if I wasn't as economical with my words as I might have been.
