I picked up a used Pismo in July which worked great for about a monthy
before I started noticing a faint pink discoloration mostly in the lower
left corner. It quickly spread to the entire screen.

When the brightness of the screen is increased to maximum, this
discoloration tended to go away. I almost always saw it when starting up
or when waking from sleep. It kept getting worse so I read that
replacing the LCD would help.

So, I spend $300 bucks and bought a new LCD and it is still doing the
same thing!

Anybody else heard of this, have any solutions?

"DOS Computers manufactured by companies such as IBM, Compaq, Tandy, and
millions of others are by far the most popular, with about 70 million
machines in use worldwide. Macintosh fans, on the other hand, may note
that cockroaches are far more numerous than humans, and that numbers
alone do not denote a higher life form." - New York Times
