I was an early adopter of 10.2.8 and have not suffered any effects on my
ibook. I have just returned from an overseas trip and can report that
battery life has not diminished or increased after the upgrade, it has
remained the same. I do not have a temperature control, but the ibook feels
the same temp (which is hot).
