HI Gang,

I've thoroughly searched MAC help (heretofore unthinkable!) and can find no
complement to OS 9's ability to assign function keys a task to perform,
quickly and easily through a control panel... I had all of the function keys
assigned to open my most used apps.. I can't find any way to do the same in
OS 10.

I have a few other pet peeves about functionality and convenience in OS X
vs. 9.x comparisons, (chooser, file sharing, networking, certain apps lose
functionality like grammarian) but the function key thing is the worst.

Anyone know how this is done? Third party suggestion?

Surely an interface as elegant and modern as this is capable?

Thanks, one and all
Sid From south Louisiana, Cajunland USA.
