It isn't ground breaking, it is merely the next iteration of the iBook. The speed difference between the G3 iBook and the G4 iBook isn't that great. Oh, it is there, but if I hadn't known that it was a G4 I'd have assumed Apple was using a faster G3. Its performance reminded me of the first generation 12" PowerBook which, to me, was too underpowered to be called a PowerBook. (A nice machine, but not what I was expecting.) If you are looking for a good value, the G4 iBook is that.
