Any comments/thoughts on increased power requirments (i.e. decreased battery life) or heat issues with the faster drive(s)?
I put a 7200 rpm 60GB Hitachi drive into my TiBook 800. No great impact on power consumption and a better OS X experience. The only thing that gets my book hot is intensive processor activity.
