I have one of the first G4 Powerbooks (400 MHz) that is only getting 40-50 minutes on a full battery charge. I have tried several times to cycle (on batteries) the machine to try to get the battery life to improve. I have also reset (I THINK) the PMU (however, the date/time were still appropriate) to trick and reset the battery. Still the battery life is not good. Any other suggestions, or am I in the market for a new battery? Thanks.
