Never bought any Macs from PowerMax. From other postings, I've heard
good things about Small Dog:

I've bought at least five Macs and lots of other stuff from Small Dog Electronics (sponsor of this very list), and I find them to be a terrific company. I bought my Pismo from them. I think it was nearly the last brand-new Pismo sold in the US; got a great deal on it from Small Dog. It's still under AppleCare warranty! They sometimes have unbeatable prices, and sometimes a bit higher than others, but service is great. The only drawback is that sometimes shipping from their location in the hinterlands of Vermont takes a day more than from, for example, Chicago. However, Small Dog is an established company, with a great reputation, and a solid customer base. They'll be around when you decide to buy a G7 gnuMac, or whatever the heck Apple is selling in 2015!.

Plus, you get cute little plastic doggies with every order.
