Method #2 Put a Applework icon in your Dock and next time you want to open a file created with Appleworks just drop it over the Dock icon. Method #3 Single click the icon of any Appleworks document (to highlight) press the command key (apple key) and the letter "I" key ("I" as in information) a window inspector will appear, chose open with, then chose Appleworks and than click on change all.

Problem: I usually use Appleworks for the documents I create. (Old habits die hard...) When I click on a file (which sports an AppleWorks icon) it opens up in Word. The only way I am able to work around it is to open the document up in Appleworks, but hey, I just want to click and go.
Is there any way I can get Word to stop trying to be my default?
