I want to try to install OSX onto my Kanga powerbook using XPostFacto.
I have a 20 gb hard drive partitioned into 2. Now I have OS 9.1 and 9.2 each on a partition.
I have an OSX 10.1 CD and a 10.2, but the instructions say that if OSX is installed on an older powerbook with a partitioned drive, it must be within the first 8 g. I have 2 partitions, but they are both 10 g.
1. Does that mean I will have to reformat the drive and make one partition only 8 gb or less?
2. How do I know which partition is the FIRST 8 gb to install onto?
Thanks.
