I used a Powerlogix 466 upgrade card for a few years, and it worked great. I
followed the instructions, flashed the Rom, shutdown the computer, removed
original processor, put in Powerlogix, start up and the Rom was flashed,
that was it.

Went from 233 to the 466 speeds with a 1 MB backside cache and saw an
immediate jump in speeds.

The only problem I incurred was the maximum ram that could be run was 256
MB, still do not know what the reason was for this as some people reported
using 512 Mb or more.

It was speculated that the Apple Rom may have had something to do with this
(different versions of Rom in different computers), although this was never
confirmed.

I used OSX and full suite of graphics programs with the card and never had
any problems.

I also like to state that Powerlogix was an excellent company to work with,
helpful and knowledgeable.
