Any ideas?

I had a similar problem with my Pismo which started after I replaced the Hard drive. It would take forever to reboot or access the Hard drive from sleep. Turned out to be bad hard drive.

The hard drive appeared OK, when I quick formatted and partitioned it, but experiments with multiple computers and non-partitioning revealed that the directory was being scrambled and/or data was being written to the same blocks.
