Ok folks, the Powerbook is arriving Monday (it is only 5 hours from here right now but I'm guessing they won't let me just go over and pick it up, so I'll have to wait).


I've seen a few "must have" lists around [1] [2] but I'd like to hear your favorite apps, especially those little utilities and programs that you can't (or don't want to) live w/out.

Free is good, but I'm not against paying for something that's a better alternative.

So, what's your favorite MacOSX app/utility/whatnot?

(and remember, this is my first Mac, so don't assume I know anything, and you won't be far off :-)

really hoping this doesn't get sidetracked into a thread where we end up comparing 1 or 2 programs which are roughly the equivalent to "Which is better, chocolate or vanilla?"
