As another lister replied, yes and yes. The only thing you might want to
consider is whether you'll be spending more time in OS X or OS 9. If you
think you'll be spending more time in OS X, then it would be better to put
OS X onto the internal drive and OS 9 on the FW drive. With virtual memory
on all the time, you'll probably get better performance if OS X is running
off the internal drive. If you will just use it from time to time, then it
doesn't really matter.
