I'm sorry.  I believe you have made several incorrect assumptions.  Oh, and :P.  I 
would never use a minidisk because I think it's a stupid format.  However, a friend of 
mine does, and he likes minidisk audio quality, is a musician, works with other 
musicians who like the format, and who use it with PC's.  He likes Macs..  I want to 
support his use of macs.  So I thought I'd try to help him.  I'll tell him of your 
helpful responses...
