Is there a way to make the fan come on so that I can check to see if it works? Maybe an application that will turn it on?

I took my laptop apart to replace the PCMCIA cage, among other things,
and noticed that the wires were looped into the fan blades. So I'm not sure it would have come on
even if the temperature warranted it.

Thanks,

Dan-
