SYM13FW500-DISK DRIVE
Manufacturer: LSI Logic Model: SYM13FW500-DISK DRIVE Speed: 400 MB/sec Speed Firmware Revision: 10532909 Unit Spec Id: 24734 Unit Software Version: 10483
The drive itself is labelled as a Maxtor model 54098U8. The problem is the drive doesn't show up on the desktop and Disk Utility doesn't see it. Any ideas? Or recommendations on other disk utility software? I used techtool pro with my powermacs running 8.6, but I haven't upgraded to the OSX version yet.
