I must admit that for 4 of its 6 years I shut down my Wall Street
every time I was through with it.  About 2 years ago two different
people (both techs) said "you have cats, don't you?" after opening
up the case and at about the same time I found out that one didn't 
need to shut down a PB. The only computers I'd heard about running 
successfully for days on end were Amigas rendering something.

Anyway, I now shut down my PB at night and always cover it with
some plastic wrap when not in use.
