I don't have a powerbook, but my iBook has only been turned off once in 
the year and a half that I have owned it and that is when I shipped it 
back to Apple for service. I think that it would upset me to turn it 
off every night, I'm not patient enough to wait for it to start up when 
I want to get on it again.
